Van Deusen was started in 1987 by Jay Van Deusen.  He started out doing windows and doors, but quickly moved up to doing some remodeling.  He had bigger ambitions than just using a hammer the rest of his life.  He had to much business background to stay out in the field forever so he hired a young carpenter named Buck Chestnut.  Buck has been with Van Deusen for about 18 years.  He still looks 18 as well. 

    Those two along with help from nation wide business groups, Business Network and Roundtable Advantage, grew the company to what it is today.  We have as a company built custom new homes for a select few that needed help with what they really wanted in a home but knew they didn't want just a cookie cutter home.  Jay was able to do this with his program called Chief Architect.  This allows him to show the clients visually what they were dreaming.  

    We now predominately do additions for new rooms, interior and exterior remodeling like kitchens and bathrooms, and light commercial.  The light commercial is mainly banks, strip malls, dental/doctor offices that needs a new layout of offices or a facelift, etc.  These last two sentences really tells you what kind of clients would benefit from our services.  The service and commitment we have to our clients is second to none.  We take any project size and treat it the same all across the board.  Customer satisfaction is just one of many goals that Van Deusen stands for.
